The outbreak of COVID-19 has taken thousands of lives which not only presented a physical and mental health challenge to most people，but also crashed the economy. So far，the spread of the epidemic has been basically curbed by the whole country. Therefore，the top priority of the moment is resuming production while maintaining epidemic prevention and control.

Since mid-February 2020，the Chinese government has made a series of detailed arrangements for socioeconomic development amid epidemic prevention and control. Taking the automotive industry as an example，this article discusses some thoughts and recommendations on the essential steps for the resumption of work based on integrated strategic planning.
