Louis Dreyfus Company（LDC）is very concerned about the COVID-19 outbreak and the many people it has affected. We have taken steps to help ensure the health and safety of our employees，our partners and our customers. We have donated RMB 1 million in cash to the Red Cross Society of China to support frontline efforts to combat the virus. The donation has been used for the renovation project of a Huanggang anti-epidemic hospital for the emergency treatment of patients with COVID-19. Later，we also donated 400000 RMB worth of ‘Mastergold’ cooking oils to the local designated hospital through the Red Cross Society of Binhai District，Tianjin，to support the medical workers fighting the epidemic.

Despite of labor shortage and logistic challenges，all our oilseeds crushing plants in China resumed work in early Feb 2020. LDC also took part in the local initiatives to ensure food and feed supply for people’s livelihood. In addition，since the outbreak of the epidemic，we have overcome difficulties and coordinated resources to transport close to 30，000 tons of soybean meal to Hubei Province，supplying the production needs of local feed industry，to ensure people’s needs for high-quality proteins. We also worked jointly with E-commerce partners，including Meituan and Meicai，to provide subsidies for 160，000 boxes of packaged oil products，supporting catering enterprises to tide over the difficulties.
