The continuing spread of the coronavirus has become a great cause of global concern. In this extraordinary time，Carlyle has mobilized its global network and resources to source medical supplies for front-line medical and support staff in China，with the firm and its employees donating RMB 3 million in cash and medical supplies to fight against the COVID-19 crisis. As part of this，Carlyle has donated 50000 N95 protective masks and 10000 faceshields to the most affected communities in China. The firm has also donated RMB 2 million to the Hubei Charity Federation to help Hubei Province contain the outbreak.

Furthermore，Carlyle has been helping its Chinese portfolio companies to source protection gear to protect the safety of their own employees and customers.
