Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in mid-January，with safety remaining our core value and people’s wellbeing our central concern，we have been working very hard to protect our employees and their families and to keep business continuity throughout the challenging period. BP has donated around 3 million RMB worth of medical protective materials and funds to areas hit by the disease and Chinese charities respectively，playing a small part in helping the local communities in ways we can，to get through the hardship，including：

·BP China has donated RMB 1 million to China Charity Federation；

·BP China has donated RMB 1.7-million-worth of protective equipment to Wuhan NO.9 Hospital，Qianjiang NO. 2 Hospital，Peking Union Medical College Hospital，etc.；

·BP China employees，matched by the BP Foundation，donated an additional RMB 420 thousand to China Charity Federation；

·BP is donating USD 2 million to WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
