After the ExxonMobil China Union donated RMB 200000 to the China Charity Federation on January 28，ExxonMobil announced that it continues to coordinate global resources and donate RMB 2100000 yuan worth of cash and medical supplies that are urgently needed for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 to China Charity Federation and local communities. At the same time，affiliates of ExxonMobil China also quickly and actively deployed resources to donate materials to communities where they operate.

From January 24 to completion on February 2，Huoshenshan Hospital designated for treatment of confirmed cases stood up in Wuhan within ten days. This is widely complimented. However，what is little known is many stories behind the speedy construction. For example，the spare lubricants at a steel plant in Hubei，which produced construction steel for the Hospital，were once in shortage. After ExxonMobil received urgent orders，in order to ensure the non-stop operation of the steel production，it worked closely with distributors，from approval to implementation to storage and logistics，all the way with green lights. The 171 barrels of “first aid” lubricants arrived at steel plant at the fastest speed. “I was（at the time）desperate. I did not expect Mobil to support so much.” ExxonMobil’s partner dealers said afterwards，“Knowing that our batch of oil is serving the hospital construction，（ExxonMobil）provided full support from the front desk to the back office despite all the costs.” “Completing tasks without delaying production under the difficult conditions of the Wuhan lockdown is impossible if without the cooperation from all lines.” The ExxonMobil colleague for coordination said，“I didn’t think of anything else at that time. All of my focus is on how to get things done during this difficult time.”

On January 27，ExxonMobil received an urgent order to provide initial installation lubricants for negative pressure monitoring ambulances in emergency production to ensure that the ambulances could be delivered to the affected areas on time. The lubricant team immediately sacrificed vacations，raced against pressure and time，deployed inventory resources urgently，issued certifications，applied for permits for vehicles and drivers of emergency supplies，searched for trucks，drivers，and stocked goods. With the joint efforts of customers，dealers and suppliers，on January 31，43 barrels of engine oil were delivered to the destination in time，completing a task almost impossible. Teoh Song-Ping，President of ExxonMobil North Asia Lubricant Business，said：“Excellent “can-do” spirit is demonstrated by the collective team，even though they are located in various cities of different countries and at different time zones. They put customers first and overcome huge obstacles in a very short time：transportation block，extensive shutdown，shortage of logistics services and so on. Finally，all these orders have been fulfilled timely and flawlessly.”
