BHP has donated RMB 10 million to the Chinese Red Cross Foundation to support its novel Coronavirus response efforts. The donation will be focussed towards humanitarian support for doctors，nurses and medical personnel treating Coronavirus patients，as well as other response actions necessary to fight the effects of the Coronavirus.

Chief Executive Officer，Mike Henry said，BHP is deeply committed to China and its people，and like many multinational companies with local operations，is supporting China in overcoming this challenge together. We stand with our Chinese customers，suppliers，colleagues and all citizens to fight and recover from this outbreak，Mr Henry said.

BHP will continue to engage with stakeholders throughout the response and recovery process to offer support and is working closely with its Chinese customers and suppliers to maintain stable production and supply to the market for business continuity.
