DSM China，part of Royal DSM，a global science-based company in Nutrition，Health & Sustainable Living，today announced that it will donate a second batch of goods，100 million Vitamin C pills，to help boost citizen’s immune systems amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Prior to this，DSM has donated 1 million RMB in cash and 6 million Vitamin C chewable tablets. With these donations，DSM affirms its commitment to China and its people，applying its expertise to protect the medical staff in the frontlines.

In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak，sentiments of support have stirred within the country. DSM has pledged to actively support the frontline fight against the spread of the virus with a donation of 1 million RMB to the Chinese Red Cross Foundation. The funds are to be used to purchase medical supplies and equipment in short supply according to the requirement of COVID-19 prevention and control and supplement the needs of frontline medical personnel.

In addition，DSM donates two batches of Vitamin C products for medical personnel working tirelessly to contain the virus. The first batch of 6 million Vitamin C chewable tablets is donated to Wuhan Union Hospital of China and its branches and hospitals in Jingzhou，Hubei Province and other provinces. DSM will also donate a second batch of 100 million Vitamin C pills，the raw material of which is manufactured by DSM Jiangshan Pharmaceutical（Jiangsu）Co.，Ltd. These 100 million Vitamin C pills will be donated to hospitals in Wuhan，Jingzhou and other cities where DSM production sites and offices are located in.

Vitamin C plays an irreplaceable role in supporting the operation of the immune system.
