On Jan 29th,Dow Greater China announced to donate RMB1 million via the Shenzhen One Foundation to support the Corona Virus control efforts in Wuhan and nearby cities in Hubei province. The donation was used to buy medical supplies and fund community voluntary services.

Later on,respectively on Feb 19th,Feb 28th,and Mar 13th,Dow provided additional aid of 56 tons of disinfectants,1000 bottles of hand sanitizers and 1000 medical coveralls respectively to Xianning City,1 hospital and 8 volunteers groups as well as the Wuhan Medical Team of Shanghai Huashan Hospital to protect the “China is Dow’s 2nd largest market world-wide and home to more than 3200 Dow people. Our thoughts go to everyone affected by the outbreak. I am glad that Dow is able to do something to help protect the medical workers and volunteers in the frontline,” said Yoke Loon Lim,president of Dow Greater China.
