2020 was an unusual year in the history of mankind，during which the COVID-19 outbreak profoundly affected the international landscape and economic order，thus making the international and regional situations more complicated. Under the auspices of the Chinese President and Arab leaders，China-Arab States relations have been further consolidated with frequent high-level interactions. The pragmatic cooperation between China and the Arab States to fight against COVID-19 was exceptional，and has yielded remarkable achievements in various sectors. China and the Arab States issued a joint statement on solidarity against COVID-19，in which both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen solidarity，promote cooperation，and support each other to fight against COVID-19 and address common threats and challenges. Furthermore，China and the Arab States have been dedicating themselves to post-COVID-19 economic recovery and development to safeguard their citizens’ well-being and sustainable growth. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi commended China-Arab States relations in the face of the pandemic：“China and the Arab States have stood by each other，fought in solidarity and extended a helping hand to each other. Our relations have been further strengthened and elevated.”3034420
