Arab states are by nature China’s partner in the Belt and Road Initiative. When the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the traditional economy，the accelerating digital economy development provides new momentum for the global economy and society and brings new opportunities for China-Arab states digital economy cooperation in the new era. China and the Arab states should jointly strive to make the digital economy a practical approach to ensure the quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
