This paper presents classified statistics on 481 academic dissertations published in Tourism Tribune from 2000 through 2004.It emphatically introduces important literature covering following subjects：the position and function of China’s tourism industry；sustainable development and ecotourism；protection and management of scenic spots；hotels and travel services；tourism planning；analysis of the tourist economy；development of regional tourism industry；tourism market，tourist behavior；research review with a view to tracking recent development of China’s tourism.

This paper reflects the great efforts Tourism Tribune has made to promote the development of China’s tourism industry and the progress of tourism research.
