This paper attempts to evaluate and predict the economic，tourism，social and cultural impact on the Pearl River Delta by the Hong Kong Disneyland. The following is based on in-depth interviews with corporate chief executive officers and government officials of the tourism industries in Shenzhen，Guangzhou，Zhuhai and Dongguan conducted between July and November 2000.
