High-tech industry，as Shenzhen’s primary backbone industry，has been contributing greatly to Shenzhen’s economic increase.Nevertheless，thirty years ago，instead of high-tech industry，which was a blank space，most of Shenzhen’s enterprises were labor-intensive “three plus one” enterprises （the enterprises that process raw materials on clients’ demands，assemble parts for the clients and process according to the clients’ samples；or engage in compensation trade）.How could it develop from a barren desert of science and technology to the habitat of innovators？How to change from mere importation of technology to independent innovation？How to push on independent innovation of Shenzhen high-tech industry in the new period？It will be helpful to do a brief review of independent innovation development of Shenzhen high-tech industry，and then look forward to its future development.
