In 2015，motivated by a series of policies and measures aiming at enhancing agriculture and benefiting farmers，Henan agricultural and rural development generally presented a good momentum of output and income increase. Food crop production increased for the 12th year in a row，farmers’ income grew rapidly for the 12th year in a row，and the value of animal husbandry output ranked first all over the country. In 2016，with the acceleration of the new industrialization and urbanization，deepening of “Internet + modern agriculture”，rapid transformation of the modes of agricultural development and promotion of the structural reform of the agricultural supply aspect in depth，agriculture and rural areas will have new opportunities for development and the construction of Henan Province as a major modern agricultural province will be further accelerated.
