Despite a severe challenge，China’s economy scored a great achievement in 2009. In the face of the impact of global financial crisis，we implemented a package of economic stimulus plan to expand domestic demand，which has effectively made up for the impact of a sharp decline in exports on the economy. As the national economy rose in a stable way，it maintained steady and rapid development momentum. The remarkable economic performance fully reflects that China’s economy has the ability to defend risks and that the CPC Central Committee and the State Council have right decision-making ability and excellent macro-control art. In the new year，following the requirements of the Central Economic Work Conference，we shall continue to adhere to the policy of expanding domestic demand，improve the relevance and flexibility of macro-control，focus on the transformation of the pattern of economic development，enhance the Driving power of economic growth by improving people’s livelihood，form endogenous growth mechanism，and maintain the situation of a sound and rapid development for long.
