中文摘要

中國的俗文學研究,在當代學科體系中,一直處於尷尬的境地。它在“古代文學”與“近代文學”學科中,衹能作爲附庸而存在,而“現代文學”又將它婉拒於門外;欲靠往“民間文學”一科,或以爲該科的主體乃是口頭流傳的文學。於是乎,除戲曲、小説而外的俗文學,幾無立錐之地。

有感於此,我們創立《戲曲與俗文學研究》,希望能夠爲從事俗文學研究的同道提供一個平臺,以促進研究的進展。

同時,希望借此刊物,倡導重視文獻與實證的學風。特别是説唱文學、歌謡唱本等方面的研究現狀,需要我們先着手文獻普查、編目、文本影印與校點整理等基礎工作,使之作爲“文藝”的一脈而進入“文學藝術史”的主流視野,争取一席之地,進而提出真正關涉文學主流的“話題”。

謹此期待更多的同好加入本刊的行列,以共同推進中國俗文學的研究。

關漢卿《竇娥冤》在當下已經成爲文學史與戲曲史上的經典作品。不過,它在元代並未受到關注,《録鬼簿》最初的版本裏甚至没有收録。明人認爲關漢卿擅長寫作風月題材,朱權説他是“可上可下之才”,何良俊、胡應麟等認爲他在“元曲四家”中應當排在末尾。《元曲選》收録八種關劇,《竇娥冤》排在倒數第二位。直到王國維在1912年底完成《宋元戲曲史》,纔推許關漢卿爲“元人第一”,把《竇娥冤》與《趙氏孤兒》放到與世界大悲劇相並提的高度。王氏的評價,其實是受西方漢學界影響的結果。1958年,關漢卿被推舉爲“世界文化名人”,更被强調“鬥士”身份,從此《竇娥冤》作爲反抗黑暗時代的偉大作品,確立了它的經典地位。

考察南戲的體制規律,可從《永樂大典戲文三種》順流而下一探究竟。通過劇本比較,可見南戲的“開場”與“段落”如何逐步演變,至明代不同時期刊刻之劇本趨向規範的進程。南戲的“開場”,最大演進在開演前寫於招子上的“題目”,至宣德本《金釵記》、成化本《白兔記》已被挪後,成爲副末宣念的“下場詩”。此外,受到話本小説“分段結構”的影響,原本“不分段落”的宋元南戲,至明刊劇本始見分齣定目、分卷析本,積極意義除了因應實際演出的天數,方便作者、演員、觀衆指稱特定情節,還可使故事情節依次推進,條理脈絡更加清晰,亦即强化了戲曲的“結構”──“排場”之調度。

法曲始興于隋,其源頭是中古時期的清商樂,故隋代法曲乃由清商署樂官掌管。入唐以後,清樂衰亡,清商署亦被罷省。但玄宗獨好法曲,於是設立梨園樂官專門管理並演奏之。安史亂後,梨園被罷,法曲撥歸太常梨園别教院,其後又轉隸宣徽法曲樂官。隨着職能的擴大,宣徽院不再單獨理樂,法曲遂轉屬其分支機構仙韶院。到了北宋,法曲主要由教坊法曲部和黄門樂雲韶部掌演。北宋末至南宋初,雲韶部消失,教坊被罷省,法曲亦趨於衰亡,但在宋金雜劇、金元院本中尚有法曲的藝術因子存在。

奥地利國家圖書館在網上(https://www.onb.ac.at/)公佈了一批中文古籍。經網絡檢索,其中戲曲類藏書計有:選本三種,《大明天下春》、《重訂綴白裘全集》和《重訂綴白裘新集合編》;刻本二種,《新刻增補全像鄉談荔枝記》和《桃花扇》;曲韻一種,《中原音韻》。綫上《大明天下春》比上海古籍出版社影印版多了兩頁,補足了所收《祁羽狄遇仙女》和《蘇秦爲相團圓》兩齣。將這兩齣與其他明選本比較,發現《祁羽狄遇仙女》即明傳奇《玉如意記》的一齣,《蘇秦爲相團圓》的曲文與羅懋登注釋的《重校金印記》幾乎一致。集古堂刻本《綴白裘》、共賞齋刻本《綴白裘》和西園刻本《桃花扇》雖見著録,但版本情况介紹不多,本文亦略加考述。
