暨南大学文化遗产创意产业研究院成立于2017年5月，是国内较早将文化遗产与创意产业结合，进行研究转换，发挥高校优势，发挥海外华人华侨优势，积极与社会协同创新，搭建国际教育、文化交流平台的研究院。该院成立近三个月时，在国务院侨务办公室、中国海外交流协会、中国工艺美术学会的支持下，策划举办了“一‘带一路’文化遗产合作交流（2017）国际高峰论坛”。在国际民间艺术组织（IOV）的帮助下，邀请了德国、意大利、俄罗斯、伊朗、埃及、波兰、拉脱维亚等国家著名博物馆馆长齐聚北京，以文化遗产的保护与发展为主题，共同探讨如何响应“一带一路”伟大倡议，交流、分享各国博物馆对于文化遗产的保护活化经验，充分体现了民心相通、文明互鉴，各美其美、美美与共的中国哲学理念。会后，十国博物馆同时收藏了中国著名景泰蓝工艺大师米振雄先生的作品《“一带一路”四海同心》。

（1）埃及民间传统协会建立了一套非物质文化遗产和传统手工艺术的综合档案。
（2）埃及民间传统协会与“埃及妇女委员会”（ECW）进行合作，为上埃及地区的女性培训“塔里”（Tally）手艺。“塔里”是一种古代盛行的刺绣手艺。此项目由UNESCO资助，以帮助上埃及一个极度贫困村庄培训和发展手工艺技术。
政府要求埃及民间传统协会在艾斯尤特省和索哈杰省培训350名女性手工艺者。该项目在该村培训了180名女性。在该项目的帮助下，目前该村女性手工艺者的数量已超过1500人。该项目提高了女性及其家庭的收入，使女性及其家庭更加独立。如今整个村庄成为公认的“塔里村”。
（3）埃及民间传统协会目前正负责一项发展项目，为上埃及地区创造就业机会，提供更多的工作选择。目前协会已选择将传统手摇纺织业作为培训项目，其中丝绸业为重中之重。
索哈杰省的纺织重镇阿赫米姆及其周边村庄，当选为该项目的实施基地。这一举措将加快该项目的发展，重振该省农村地区纺织行业。
（4）埃及民间传统协会与工业部合作，通过工业现代化中心对埃及所有手工艺业进行调查，收集到有关整个埃及366种手工艺业的密集信息，很好地展示了埃及传统手工艺业的发展现状。
（5）埃及民间传统协会与文物部合作，为埃及国家博物馆（NMEC）提供传统艺术和手工艺的各方面详细信息，并为拍摄五部宣传纪录片做准备。这五部纪录片以埃及传统手工艺的发展和意义为主题。

2-ESFT cooperated with the “Egyptian Council of Women” （ECW） to train women in Upper Egypt on the art of “Tally”. “Tally” is an embroidery craft that was almost extinct. This project was funded by UNESCO for the Training and Development of the craft in one of the poorest villages in Upper Egypt.
ESFT was requested to train 350 women in this craft in Assuit and Sohag governorates. The project trained 180 women in the same village. Presently，and as result of the project，the number of those practicing now exceeds 1500. The project increased the income and independence of these women and their families，and the whole village has gained social recognition for being known as “the village of Tally”.
3-ESFT is presently undertaking a developmental project for creating job opportunities and providing employment options for women in Upper Egypt. The traditional handloom textile industry，with emphasis on the silk industry，is the craft chosen for the training program.<,AbstractEN:
The paper is to give an example of what the Egyptian Society for Folk Traditions （ESFT-NGO，registered UNESCO Number 90182/4GA-2012） has done in the field of the Protection and Development of the “Intangible Cultural Heritage” （ICH） in general and “Folk Arts and Crafts” in Particular.
1-ESFT established a Comprehensive archive of ICH and traditional arts and crafts.
2-ESFT cooperated with the “Egyptian Council of Women” （ECW） to train women in Upper Egypt on the art of “Tally”. “Tally” is an embroidery craft that was almost extinct. This project was funded by UNESCO for the Training and Development of the craft in one of the poorest villages in Upper Egypt.
ESFT was requested to train 350 women in this craft in Assuit and Sohag governorates. The project trained 180 women in the same village. Presently，and as result of the project，the number of those practicing now exceeds 1500. The project increased the income and independence of these women and their families，and the whole village has gained social recognition for being known as “the village of Tally”.
3-ESFT is presently undertaking a developmental project for creating job opportunities and providing employment options for women in Upper Egypt. The traditional handloom textile industry，with emphasis on the silk industry，is the craft chosen for the training program.
For the governorate of Sohag，its important textile township of Akhmim and the villages in its vicinity have been chosen for its implementation，the project would be a catalyst in revitalizing this art in rural communities which identify with this craft in the governorate.
4-ESFT cooperated with the “Ministry of Industry” and through the “Industrial Modernization Center”，administered a survey of traditional crafts and collected intensive information about 366 crafts all over Egypt，which presented a concrete understanding on the state of traditional crafts in Egypt.
5-ESFT cooperated with the “Ministry of Antiquities” in providing information on the aspects of traditional arts and crafts for the “National Museum of Egyptian Civilization” （NMEC） and preparing five documentary films on traditional crafts，their processes and cultural significance.

The issue of maintaining national culture，identity and folk art has always been very important to Latvians.
The development of the applied folk art in Latvia has deeply rooted in tradition and gone hand in hand with efforts to preserve the historical memory and national consciousness.
Today folk applied art in Latvia can notionally be divided into two groups：
1）traditional （past），and
2）contemporary folk applied art.
In Latvia，historically it has developed that craftsmanship is carried out both individually and in an organized manner. The individual craftsmen und organized craftsmen groups work both in the countryside and in the cities，but government and local municipalities support only organized craftsmen groups by offering working space，tools and covering tuition fee.
The organized craftsman groups led by professional craftsmen，they worked according to a defined teaching program in which theoretical and practical lessons were provided for. In recent years the themes of applied arts training courses have been very much attuned to the demands，needs and interests of the people of today：knowledge is extended in such fields as cultural history，the basics of composition，the role of symbols in folklore，as well as issues that are important today，such as protection of design samples，cultural policy in Latvia in general and as applied to folk art，the skills of preparing projects and organizing applied arts events，including festivals.
Craftsmen are happy to actively participate in exhibitions and public events in order to demonstrate their trade，to train beginners，to do custom work，and to publish their original compositions and technical descriptions in various printed media in Latvia.
Exhibitions of folk applied art are vivid cultural events in Latvia. The exhibition activity has been bustling at all levels：exhibitions are being organized by groups themselves as well as by cultural institutions-on the level of a village，city or regional. National level exhibitions by genres or topics have become popular；the central exhibition in Latvia is the exhibition of applied arts organized during the Latvian Song and Dance Festival，recurring every five years. Since 1971，the Open-Air Museum annually hosts Craftsmen’s Fair，but for more creative and modern craftsmen，in August Museum organize Contemporary Crafts Festival：craftsmen who apply a wide variety of methods and materials，involving in their production of goods not only crafts skills，but also elements of technology development and modern design. To ensure that only the best pieces are displayed in the exhibitions，an Arts Council （jury commission） has been established. The council selects works for the exhibitions.
Without special education to provide knowledge of our people’s traditions and teaching younger generation，inheritance of traditions and continuity will disappear. Accordingly，much thought is being given in Latvia to the development of a new cultural policy appropriate to the present age，in order to prevent the link with the traditional cultural heritage from being broken.
