“媒介化生存” 已成为当今时代人们生活的逼真写照。网络媒介特别是社交媒体,成为一种新型社会资本,为个体编织出与传统地缘、血亲关系完全不同的社会关系网络。当网络成为一种新型社会资本媒介,社交媒体的使用是否会构成阶层划分的一个新向度,是否会勾勒出阶层结构关系的新边界?换句话说,社交媒体的使用行为让阶层的边界变得更清晰还是更模糊,是更开放还是更封闭?本书试图通过对中国新中产阶层社交媒体使用行为与过程的研究,就这些问题做出初步回答。
