中文摘要

消费的自主性和消费的脆弱性是现代消费生活的两个基本特点。但是,在消费研究的主流文献中,占据主导地位的是消费自主性范式。这种范式揭示了现代社会中所产生的消费自主性,但忽略了现代社会中由系统和体制所引发的消费的脆弱性。为了更有效地应对消费的脆弱性,我们需要建立新的理论工具和新的研究范式。本书提出了消费嵌入性的研究范式,并结合社会学的新制度主义,从制度嵌入性角度对中国城市家庭的消费行为进行了分析。作者基于对广州居民的质性访谈,提出了“消费私民化”命题,并对消费私民化中的“结构性消费私民化”和“文化性消费私民化”及其相互关系进行了探讨。
