“六经皆礼”之义在历史上代有指说,经师以之为常识,论说集中体现在三个方面:三代作礼为万世法、礼著六经依经制礼、六经载道以礼治世。三者分别说明的是礼的起源、礼制复原、礼的治世功用,其中贯穿着对“六经”与“礼”的关系的体认。综观经学家们的表述,大都是宏观地“论道”,并没有具体地钩稽诸经文句以划明“六经皆礼”的根据。这项工作,直到民国时期,学者曹元弼才有意为之。而约为四字的表述,则由曹元弼的高足王蘧常在《诸子学派要诠》一书中提出。实际上,“六经皆礼”在提出之时并非创说,而只是概约前义。这种“习矣而不察焉”的历史存在状态,也影响了该说提出之后的受关注度。在学术思想史上,“六经皆史”与“六经皆文”说皆引起过巨大的争论或强烈的认同,唯独作为经学家共识的“六经皆礼”说默默无闻,这无疑会削弱经学系统下“六经”与“礼”关系的研究与认识的意义。

Historically,the Thought of The Six Classics All are Ritual Study has often been discussed. But until the Republic of China,it was simplified as four characters by Wang Quchang in his book which named Interpretation of the Philosophers’ Principal Essence. So,the Thought of The Six Classics All are Ritual Study is not an innovation,but summing up bypast theories. This determines its historical state of existence,and influences the attention degree while it appears. The Thought and important Ritual Study views it included,such as Hsia,Shang and Chou drew up Rituals and followed by all ages,Rituals written in The six Classics and drawing up Rituals abide by the Six Classics,the Six Classics carries Tao and using Rituals to manage the world,still need deeply discussed.

The twice Self-reflection of Confucianism,the first was done by Xuncius and the second was done by Dong Zhongshu. Dong Zhongshu had praised of Xuncius. For the Confucian system of Dong Zhongshu,the greatest impact from Xuncius is the spirit of practical statecraft,as well as his view of Nature and Man,his theory of Human Nature and Great Unification. Dong Zhongshu made Confucianism become the religion,and become the official ideology.

Triggered by Han Yu praised Mencius put down Xuncius’s thoughts,produced a variety of problems and arguments about Xuncius in the mid and late Tang Dynasty. The core issue has three:one is the relationship between heaven and man,Han Yu Liu Zongyuan caused controversy. Liu Yuxi in the theory of “heaven” in new heaven and the separation of heaven and man,the relationship between the point of view,in response to the thought of Xuncius. Two is the theory of human nature argument,previous discourse at this time has become the two point Mencius,Xuncius,or tending to human nature is good,or inclined to evil nature,eventually in the Song Dynasty only admit the goodness of human nature;three is a state Mencius Xuncius equality was completely broken,the movement Mencius upgraded began,but Xuncius’s fate has reached the turning point of history.

晚清民国时期,时局动荡,社会混乱。出于建设良好正义秩序的需求,众多有识之士提倡大同学说,其中也包括宗教的大同。基督教大同论者通过基督教与其他宗教的对比,认为基督教不分种族、不分阶级的博爱精神是实现大同的精神支撑;佛教大同论者注重发挥佛教的慈悲精神,大乘佛教普度众生、无私无我、舍己为人的精神与大同的天下为公精神有相通之处;民国时期甚至还把巴哈伊教翻译为“大同教”,以体现其教派宗旨。康有为、廖平、段正元等儒学家也阐述了儒学、孔教在宗教大同中的意义。宗教大同体现了人们对统一的、普遍的道德价值的追求,相关研究对不同宗教价值的认知具有很强的现实意义。

In the period of late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,society is turbulent. In order to build a good and just order,the great harmony theory is called by many people of insight,including religious harmony. By comparing Christian Christianity and other religions,Christianity believes that regardless of race,class of fraternity spirit is the spiritual support for the realization of Great Harmony Great Harmony theory attaches great importance to Buddhism;Buddhist pay attention to the merciful spirit of Buddhism,they believe all living beings,Mahayana Buddhism selfless,self sacrificing spirit of Mahayana and the spirit of the whole world as one community of the Great Harmony have similarities;during the period of the Republic of China,People translate Bahaism into the religion of Great Harmony,to reflect its religious purpose. Kang Youwei,Liao Ping,Duan Zhengyuan and other Confucian also describes the significance of Confucianism,Confucianism in religious harmony. Religious harmony reflects the pursuit of a unified and universal moral value,in the current multi religious value conflict is becoming increasingly fierce,harmonious coexistence has become the problem today,study their cognition for different religious values has a very important meaning.
