（Abstract）The piling-up of long-pending cases in our courts is causing serious concern to the Supreme People’s Court. Judging by the statistic figures of cases released by China’s courts，a period of “skyrocketing” of cases in court has begun.Not only will the recently announced measures of judicial reform be rendered poorly effective，but also our courts will find themselves crushed under such an overload of cases awaiting judgment unless a systematic solution is found in termsof judicial policy. <<
