Since Beijing became the capital of China in the 1950s，the new government had paid much attention to make plans for city space.The literary narration of New Beijing showed reconstruction of the city and landscapes，and also much public works and social relationship.We find that the New Beijing images in literary narration differed with old Beijing images，and this just the efficient way to show new city images.The New Beijing images emphasized the importance of the masses and on the other hand，it was affected by the ideology of socialism.
