The growth rate of tax revenue in the first three quarters of 2021 was 24.8%,20.4% and 9.1% respectively, and the cumulative growth rate reached 18.4%,which was higher than the growth rate of nominal GDP in the same period. The proportion of tax revenue in GDP reached 17.1%,with an increase of 0.6 percentage points over the same period of 2020,but still lower than the level of 17.9% in the same period of 2019. Considering the increasing downward pressure on economic growth after entering the third quarter, the price of bulk commodities running at a high level,as well as the phased tax deferment policy for small, medium and micro enterprises in manufacturing industry implemented in the fourth quarter,it’s expected that the tax revenue would continue to maintain a low growth rate in the fourth quarter of 2021 and 2022.
