As it is proposed to “accelerate the creation of a new development pattern and pursue high-quality development” in the report to the 20th CPC National Congress，this study analyses the impact of the Digital Countryside Strategy on advancing rural revitalization across the board. Research methodology：This study sorts out the general requirements for industrial prosperity，ecological livability，civilized countryside，effective governance and affluent living in the national rural revitalization，and reviews the policies on digital countryside proposed in the Digital China Strategy. Research findings：To accelerate agricultural and rural modernization，the agricultural and rural development shall be put first，and a sound institutional mechanism and policy system for the integrated development of urban and rural areas shall be established. The reference to agricultural and rural modernization is a theoretical innovation to traditional agricultural modernization. “Promoting the modernization of the rural governance system and governance capacity” is not only a concrete application of the theory of modernizing the national governance system and governance capacity but also enriches and refines the Chinese path to modernization. Research innovation：As socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era，this study examines the rural revitalization，poverty eradication and common prosperity as an organic whole，and systematically maps out the realization path of the Rural Revitalization Strategy. Research value：The new rural infrastructure is the only way to achieve common prosperity through the Rural Revitalization Strategy. By developing and sorting out the main economic and social indicators，this study identifies and addresses the difficulties and blockages of “issues concerning agriculture，rural areas and farmers”，so as to help achieve the goals successfully.
