Quality-of-life Subindexes of the 35 Cities
Status and changes of the subjective and the objective indexes can be explained by their respective subindexes - living standard, living costs, human capital, social security and living experience (health conditions).
3.1 Living Standard Index
The living standard index consists of a subjective index and an objective index (social and economic data index). The former was obtained through a telephone survey on income status and income expectation by assigning values to survey answers, and the latter by calculating the social and economic indicators of the 35 cities, including two primary indicators (income level and life improvement) and their subordinate six secondary indicators.
