Receiving too many documents from higher authorities had plagued primary and secondary schools in China,affecting the implementation of decentralization and school autonomy. In this study,E-school and W-school were selected as samples. The situation of receiving documents and characteristics of providing documents in those schools in 2015 was analyzed. Some suggestions were made on how to reduce document issuance.
