The Internet platform has become a very important market player in the economy,and more and more enterprises are transitioning to the platform model. However,the booming Internet platform has also brought great challenges to market management,such as P2P thunderstorms,“two to choose one”,big data discrimination and other negative phenomena. In 2020,the Central Economic Work Conference clearlyemphasized “strengthening anti-monopoly and preventing the disorderly expansion of capital. It is necessary to improve the legal norms on monopoly determination,data collection and use management,and consumer rights and interests protection of platform enterprises. We need to strengthen regulation and enhance regulatory capacity,and resolutely oppose monopoly and unfair competition.” In recent years,China has issued a series of policies and regulatory documents on the supervision of Internet platforms. This paper sorts out the current platform regulation problems in China,and on this basis puts forward relevant suggestions on strengthening the economic regulation of Internet platforms.
