Digital,intelligent and mobile features accelerate the transformation and upgrading of new media and stimulate multi-dimensional vitality. The development of China’s network and new media has the following characteristics:the digital China strategy continues to empower smart city construction and digital rural planning,and the omnimedia communication construction is moving in a systematic direction. The digital economy continues to grow,and network supervision is gradually standardized and detailed. The special groups at both ends of the population composition have become the key focus of new media,and the exploration of aging media and juvenile network access has attracted industry attention. The short video industry continues to exert its strength,the technology empowers the media content production process to accelerate the transformation,and emerging industrial positions such as Metaverse have become the battlegrounds for new media. The concept of the community of shared future in cyberspace is deepening,the integration of publishing is deepening,and Generation Z has deeply influenced the voice of new media discourse. With the continuous development of new media,some problems can not be ignored:the four-level convergence Media chain still needs to fill the shortcomings and expand the propaganda of mainstream ideology.
