（Abstract）

In China’s judicial system，efficiency has always been neglected，and we must pay great attention to this efficiency in the judicial reforms. There is agreat confusion about the concept of efficiency in the domestic legal circles，andpeople often feel at a loss in regard as how to attain the objective of efficiency. This paper will make use of economic theory and some basic principles of legal economics to make an exploratory investigation into the concepts of efficiency and judicial efficiency，the importance of the objective of judicial efficiency，and how to attain the objective of judicial efficiency. This paper was written in order to share the viewpoints with colleagues in the legal profession to promote our judicial reform，guaranteeing both justice and efficiency.
